Candidates must be 18 years old and hold a National "D" License or have the approval of the State Director of Coaching.

 
36 Hours Total: May be held over 2 Weekends with a Friday night session and all-day sessions on Saturday and Sunday
-        - The National Youth License focuses upon the nature of children and the adjustments adults must make to coach them.  Each day of the course, the focus is upon one of the traditional soccer age groups of U-6, U-8, U-10 or U-12. The course combines both classroom (theory) and field (practical) sessions and concludes with written, oral and practical examinations. 

 
Youth Module

Candidates must be at least 14 years of age
5 Hours Total:
2.5 Hours – Theory in Classroom
2.5 Hours – Practical Field Sessions

No formal testing
- Content of the Youth Module is the same as the US Soccer Youth License Course and is age specific, U6-U10
     - Focus of the certificate courses is for the parent coach & new coaches who have little or no experience in the game of soccer.
- The mission of the Youth Module is to provide the most current and advanced information on the growth and development of the youth soccer player.
 
Technical Training

4 Hours – Practical Field Sessions

It is recommended that coaches attend this course prior to attending an "E" License.
